MATCH UP was created by a team of female, student leaders, determined to make a difference in the lives of mothers and children by positively impact their physical and mental health, locally and globally.
At MATCH up we believe in promoting gender equality in all spheres of life as a key component to achieving thriving families. We recognize that early childhood environmental exposures can influence later physical and emotional well-being.

ADDRESS HEALTH DISPARITIES
A health disparity is any "health difference that is closely linked with social, economic, and/or environmental disadvantage" (Healthy People 2020). MATCH UP aims to bridge such gaps both locally and globally.
PROMOTE MENTAL HEALTH
In many communities, outside the US, mental health is stigmatized among family conversations. Our team hopes to educate sheltered populations on taboo subjects such as depression and suicide. Furthermore, our goal is to bring tactics that improve mental stability in suffering groups.
ADVANCE GIRLS' EDUCATION
Here at MATCH UP, we firmly believe that education is a right for all women. No matter the stage of life, we hope to increase the access to education and the workforce. MATCH UP tries to pave a path for all women, regardless of background.
